and HP.

OSPF Support

Tolly Group engineers

verified that the Enterasys

routers exchanged routing

table information via

OSPF with other brand

switches. This feature was

only supported and tested

on the Enterasys Matrix

N DFE and Matrix X

Secure Core Router.

Tests show that the two

Enterasys routers share OSPF

routing table data with

participating switches from

3Com, Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco,

Extreme Networks, Foundry

Networks, IBM Nortel and HP.

BGP4 Support

Devices earning this certifi-

cation have demonstrated the

ability to share routing infor-

mation via BGP v4 with all

possible vendor combinations.

This feature was only supported

on the Enterasys Matrix X

Secure Core Router, which

interoperated with devices from

Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, Extreme

Networks, Foundry Networks,

and IBM Nortel. (See Figure 3.)

VRRP Support

Devices earning this certifi-
